Production Guidelines

Ministry Presentation:

Each ministry will be allowed a maximum of seven (7) minutes to minister their presentation.  Groups will be scheduled to minister in alphabetical order by each participating church per category.  All groups must report to the event facility at their scheduled rehearsal time and remain at the facility until the production begins.  Any group not checked in by 2:30 p.m. on the day of the production, could forfeit their participation on the program unless other arrangements or proper notification made.

Attire:
Each ministry should minister in appropriate drill/step/mime/dance attire.  No tight fitting or revealing clothing will be allowed.   No attire bearing secular, offensive, obscene advertisement or logos allowed.

Props:
Groups will be allowed to use hand props (flags, banners, tambourines, etc.) to enhance their presentation.  However, groups should limit the number of set props because of the seven (7) minute time guidelines.  All set props should be pre-approved by the Program Director; otherwise no props will be allowed during the ministry presentation.

Presentation Music:
All music for your presentation should be on CD or cassette tape.  Please have all music cued and ready for performance.  If you are planning to minister a musical medley, make sure the songs are recorded onto a single CD or cassette tape.

Rehearsal:
Upon request, each ministry will be assigned a ten (10) minute pre-show rehearsal at the event facility on the day of the event.  Rehearsal time slots are limited and will be assigned on a first come basis.  All groups should arrive at least ten (10) minutes prior to their rehearsal to check-in with the stage director.  Any group not present at their rehearsal time will forfeit their rehearsal time and may not have the benefit of technical special effects during their ministry presentation.  After rehearsal, each ministry will be asked to remain at the event facility until the event begins.

Tickets:
Each participating ministry will be required to pre-sell tickets by March 5, 2010.  You will be contacted regarding ticket distribution.  The participating ministry that pre-sells the highest number of tickets over 100 will be eligible for a cash donation of $500 once the ticket money has been reported and verified.  (Note:  In case of a tie the $500 donation will be split accordingly).  The ministry leader or their appointee is responsible for the safe handling of pre-sell tickets and money.  Please note that any tickets lost, stolen or unaccounted for will be the responsibility of the ministry leader or their appointee to purchase/replace at double the pre-sale value equal to $20 per ticket.  There are no exceptions.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
